Interrupt error in Delayed Business Object Processing when time recording is transferred from one project to another project

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

Steps to transfer the time recording from one project to another project.

  1. Go to Time Administration work center
  2. Go to Employees view
  3. Search for the Employee and go to Edit button
  4. Go to Employee times tab
  5. Select the corresponding time recording and go to Labor information sub tab
  6. Modify the Task and provide the service and save
  7. Go to Actions button and Activate the record.

Now,

  1. Go to Application and User Management work center
  2. Go to Delayed Business Object Processing view
  3. Search for the Object Name: Project Expense Reassignment Requisition 
  4. Select the particular Object ID
  5. The status of the transfer posting is Interrupted

Cause

The backdated changes to assignments in a labor resource are not evaluated in the regular time valuation process. It can only be explicitly triggered from the time valuation correction run for an employee in Run Day Closure for One Employee.

Resolution

You need to execute Run Day Closure for One Employee

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center
  2. Go to Regular Tasks view
  3. Choose Run Day Closure for One Employee option
  4. Select the employee in the value help
  5. Select the action "Start Time Valuation"
  6. Go to Run button
  7. Provide the Time Profile Start date of the employee selected and choose the OK button
  8. Do not check the checkbox Include backdated labor resource changes record
