When trying to update the service instance from free plan to standard plan an error occurs:
"Service broker error: Service broker data-plane-sbf failed with: Requested service instance plan cannot be upgraded or downgraded".
Environment
- SAP Datasphere
Cause
The service instance is failing to update because the tenant does not exist anymore. Once the tenant reaches the expiration date, it gets suspended and after 5 days it is deleted.
Resolution
There is no way to recover deleted tenants.
Although the tenant gets deleted, the SAP Service Instance remains on the customer Global Account, but it will not work anymore. Therefore, is necessary to delete the instance and create a new one.
