3390766 - User Can See Journal Entry Voucher Without Access To Work Center General Ledger

A user is not assigned to "General Ledger" work center view, but the user can still see the journal entry voucher.

SAP Business ByDesign

First check the business user's access right:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Business Users view.
3. Search for the user ID.
4. Click on edit - access rights.
5. Go to access restriction tab.
6. Filter with work center view name - General Ledger.
7. Cannot find General Ledger work center under 'Assigned work center and views'.

Then check the business user's access to journal entry voucher view:

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Open sales order ABC (ABC represents the sales order ID).
4. Navigate to the document flow tab.
5. The user can see the journal entry voucher in the document flow.

Coming from the additionally assigned work center views listed as below. If any one of the view is assigned to the user, will be able to access the journal entries from the document flow of sales order. 

Work Centers: Customer invoicing, Payables, Receivables, Cost and revenue, Supplier invoicing, Travel and expenses, Payment management, Liquidity management, Fixed Asset.

You can find the access rights for work centers using below steps:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Navigate to the Business User view.
3. Search for the User ID.
4. Click on Edit - Access Rights.
5. Go to Access Restriction tab.
6. Filter with work center view name.
7. You can see the user has access to the work center.

Please unassign the work center views, and user will not able to see the journal entry voucher.
