Features with Generative AI capabilities will become available as part of SuccessFactors H1 2024 release.

SuccessFactors Generative AI features are available in the following Data Centers:

For Customer Data processed (hosted) in EU:

Customer Data processed (hosted) in the EU are not transferred outside the EU to utilize AI features provided in BTP (SAP AI Core) datacenters: 

• Customer Data processed in DC33 located in Germany-Frankfurt may be transferred to DC EU11 located in Germany-Frankfurt for customer use of AI features.
• Customer Data processed in DC55 located in Germany-Frankfurt may be transferred to DC EU11 located in Germany-Frankfurt for customer use of AI features.

These features requires SAP AI Unit SKU license. For more information, please contact your Account Executive. Once you've purchased the SAP AI Units, the options below will be available to be enabled in your Provisioning side:

• Enable AI-Assisted SAP SuccessFactors HCM Content Generator (You must purchase the SAP Al Units license in order to use this feature. Please contact your Account Executive to know more about the purchasing process.)
• Enable AI-Assisted SAP SuccessFactors HCM Skills (You must purchase the SAP Al Units license in order to use this feature. Please contact your Account Executive to know more about the purchasing process.)

Notes:

• If the options above are greyed out in Provisioning, the purchase of SAP AI Units has not been successfully completed. Please check with your Account Executive. 
• Joule is separate from SuccessFactors Generative AI. For Joule Availability in SAP SuccessFactors, please refer to this KBA: 3390798 - Joule availability in SAP SuccessFactors
• SuccessFactors Generative AI features are supported in both Azure US-East and Azure EU Central
• SuccessFactors Generative AI features are not supported in China.
• EU Access is currently supported for SuccessFactors Generative AI features on DC33, DC55, DC57 & DC74.
• SuccessFactors Data Center notation for 'DC' is short for Data Center
• BTP Region notation for 'cf' is short for Cloud Foundry
