3391490 - How to set Account Booking Offset in days

We want to set the account booking offset in days; for instance, we want to extend the bookable until date to 15 days from the default bookable until date.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Management

1. Navigate to Manage Data> Time Account Type,
2. Only the option "Account Booking Offset [Months]" is available for setting in months.
3. There is no option to set Booking Offset in days.

• It is suggested to use the Time Account Configuration rule as an alternative to the Account Booking Offset (Months) field if you want to set the Booking Possible Until date more flexibly. For instance, you can define more fine-granular booking offsets, such as in days. Also, you can configure the Booking Possible From date independently from the Account Valid From date. Per default, the Booking Possible From date is set to the Account Valid From date.

Steps to create the Time Account Configuration Rule:

1. In the Admin Center, go to Configure Business Rules.
2. Choose Create New Rule and select Time Account Configuration as the scenario. Use the IF condition to specify under which conditions the fields on the time account should be set and in which way. For instance, the booking possible until date could be set differently depending on the employee class.
3. In the Admin Center, go to Manage Data and select the Time Account Type for which the settings should be applied.
4. Under the Time Account Configuration Rule field, you can select the rule created under (2).

Limitation:

• You cannot use a Time Account Configuration Rule for recurring time account types with the Employee Flexible Date or Employee Hire Date as the Account Creation Start Date.
• The rule is executed during time account creation and whenever the validity period is adjusted automatically, for example, in the case of a hire date correction. The rule is not executed when a time account is created or adjusted via Manage Data, Import, and OData, or when the validity period is changed due to an interim update.
