Symptom
We are facing issue when we attempt to create a Holiday calendar.
Error: "You can’t use this holiday category FULL for 09/04/2023 because this holiday category isn’t specified in the Holiday Planned Working Time Determination object."
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Manage Data>Create New. Holiday Calendar
- Capture all the required details
- Click on Save
- Error pop-up as "You can’t use this holiday category FULL for 09/04/2023 because this holiday category isn’t specified in the Holiday Planned Working Time Determination object."
Cause
- Working As Designed
- The holiday category is not maintained on the object 'Holiday Planned Working Time Determination object'
Resolution
- It is an expected behavior.
- It is mandatory to maintain holiday category on the object 'Holiday Planned Working Time Determination'
