Symptom

  • The log segment in the master database quickly fills up.
  • Dumping the log segment will clear up the transaction log but it will rapidly fill up again
  • dbcc log shows a repeating pattern suchas
    1. BEGINXACT
    2. BT_DELETE
    3. BT_DELETEDOL_UPDATE
    4. BT_INSERT
    5. BT_INSERT
    6. ENDXACT
