Symptom
Users may encounter persistence issues when working with items in the Backoffice, with the system producing an error message:
"Unable to update: item - Catalog: Version | Unexpected error"
This is also identifiable when trying to ImpEx or Synchronize the same item, with the system generating an error stating:
"Couldn't instantiate item for given PK 1234567890123".
Upon further investigation using the PK analyser, the type of the problematic item can be identified:
However, this item does not appear visible within the Backoffice:
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
