Symptom

Adding an Approval Note to a Sales Quote/Order and sending the Sales Quote/Order back for Approval saves the Sales Quote/Order but not the Note

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales Work Center.
  2. Open Sales Quote/Order Work Center View.
  3. Open any Sales Quote/Order under Approval that can be Approved with Current User.
  4. Navigate to Approval tab.
  5. Insert approval note.
  6. Click on send back for revision or Approve.
  7. Refresh the Quote/Order.
  8. After refresh, Note is blank.

Cause

After you enter the text in Approval Note, you have to hit Save button first before you click on Approve/Send Back For Revision.

Resolution

This is the current system behaviour
