3391930 - New behaviors for Horizon Theme in Recruiting Pages - Recruiting Management

The Horizon Theme has been introduced to SuccessFactors in the 1H 2023 release. Since then, the Recruiting pages have been updated in each release to broadly adopt it.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1️⃣ -  History of Horizon theme updates in Recruiting

In the 1H 2023, the Horizon Theme has been introduced, and for Recruiting the following pages have been affected:

• Job Requisitions
  
• Interview Central
  

In the 2H 2023, the following Horizon theme updates occurred:

• Horizon theme started to use a specific layout across modules where the background color is white, and the text color is black (hardcoded). Please avoid using white color under body text color section in Theme Manager because the text will not be visible. In case you are using white color in this section, then please follow up the below steps:

1. Go to Admin Centre--> Theme Manager
2. Select your theme
3. Click on Fine tune --> then expand all
   
4. Then use CRTL F to search: "Body text color"
5. In Body text color, please select the paint icon as the screenshot below
   
6. Then change the color from white to something else so we can avoid any issues and click "apply"
    

• Some differences between b2305 and b2311 implemented, there is some colors control by different section. This approach has been taken in order to have consistency across all modules. For example: in b2311 the navigation tabs in RCM is controlled by "Body text color section" but in b2305, it was control by Placemat --> Link Color section.
• Quick cards in Interview Central are white from the 2H 2023 release onwards and this applies for all candidate types.
• Horizon does affect the styling of multiple pages including the requisition landing page. On the requisition landing page the styling page causes an increase to the size of the header. This has been confirmed as expected by Engineering.
  
• The Cancel & Return to Form label in the Add Modifier Page for Job Requisitions does not show with a button background. This has been confirmed as an expected behaviour by our Product Management Team. Please be aware that it is not possible to customize this as this is a hardcoded behavior.
  

2️⃣ -  Latest Horizon theme updates in the 1H 2024 release

In 2024 H1, Recruiting is adopting the new theme in more areas. Find below the list of new pages adopting Horizon theme:
