3392506 - What information do I need to provide to enable SAP Support replicate issue with Live Data connection to SAP HANA cloud in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?

• Generally, SAP Support will use Support user to log on to customer tenant to reproduce an issue (see SAP KBA 3069559)
• In this case, SAP Support cannot reproduce one issue based on Live Data connection to SAP HANA Cloud is using SAML SSO
• What information do I need to provide to enable SAP Support replicate issue with Live Data connection to SAP HANA cloud?

• SAP Analytics Cloud, Enterprise Edition

• Option 1: It is strongly recommended to provide your own credential to enable SAP Support to log on to your tenant via your custom IdP. In this case, SAP Support can easily reproduce the issue on your tenant.
• Option 2: However, if your own credential of custom IdP cannot be provided due to security reason, or your custom IdP cannot be accessed by SAP Support, please provide the following information to enable SAP Support to connect to your HANA Cloud and replicate the issue from SAP Side:
  • Please export Story/Application, Model and Connection to either .TGZ file or .Package file.
  • Please share a valid HANA Cloud user which has enough authority to run the HANA live connection and query the HANA Cloud data for the Story.
  • Please also make sure that the option "change password required" for the HANA Cloud user is disabled. Otherwise, it would cause problems.
