3393126 - SAP Service and Asset Manager application is not working after S/4 HANA system upgrade

Symptom

Since the upgrade of the S/4 HANA system, users cannot successfully synchronize with the SAP Service and Asset Manager mobile application. The Gateway Error Log transaction (/N/IWFND/ERROR_LOG) displays the following error message:

"Metering service is required for application SAP_SERVICE_ASSET_MANAGER_XXXX".
