3393170 - System Dumps While Releasing Outbound Delivery

Symptom

While trying to release Outbound Delivery the system throws a dump.

Environment

 SAP Business ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Outbound Logistics Work Center
  2. Go to Outbound Deliveries view
  3. Search for Outbound Delivery ABC (ABC represents Outbound Delivery ID)
  4. Choose Release button
  5. The system dumps.

Cause

Cost of the material is missing in the valuation tab of material master data.

Resolution

Maintain the cost of material & business residence data in the valuation tab of material master data.

Steps:

  1. Go to Product Data Work Center
  2. Go to Materials view
  3. Search for Material XYZ. (XYZ represents Material ID)
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. Under Valuation tab, maintain the Cost & Business Residence data.
  6. Choose Save.
  7. After performing these steps Release Outbound Delivery.
