3393548 - SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting: How to use Delta Mode in Release Universal Journals Task in a non-Group Reporting Preparation Ledger (GRPL) Integration Scenario

Symptom

Prerequisite: SAP Group Reporting Preparation Ledger is not active. See SAP Help Chapter “Integration with Group Reporting Preparation Ledger” for details.

While executing the Task Release of Universal Journals, the runtime is very slow or a SAP HANA Database memory short dump occurs. The Runtime does not meet the expectations also after optimizing the technical SQL layer. All relevant Notes from KBA 2875820 – SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting On-Premise Performance – Collective note are implemented and following the analysis and recommendations of KBA 3321191 – How to maintain Database Hints for optimizing CDS views for program “Read from Universal Journals” in S/4HANA Finance for Group Reporting did not give any more improvement.
