3393936 - Unexpected results from function-based index after ENABLE_BULK_LOAD insert - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Data is inserted from jConnect using the ENABLE_BULK_LOAD connection property.
  • The table being inserted has a function-based index.
  • When querying the table using the function in the index, inconsistent results or no results may be returned.
  • In some cases, a SEGV is reported in the ASE error log with the following stack:
    LeSendRow::_sendColsToClient(pss*, int, int)
    LeSendRow::sendRowToClient(pss*, unsigned char, short)
    LeEmitSndOp::_LeEoRouteResults(ExeCtxt&, LeVtuple*)
