3394390 - Error message SV117 - "Do not make any changes (SAP entry) "occurs when changing material master field selection - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

When trying to apply changes in SSCUI 104026 "Assign fields to field selection groups" warning message SV117 "Do not make any changes (SAP entry)" occurs.

System standard behavior.

Changing of SAP entries is not permitted.

As a workaround, it is suggested to create field reference.

Creating a Field Reference:
1. Choose "New entries" or copy from existing entries.
2. Specify a field reference beginning with Y or Z.
3. Select the field selection option for each field selection group as required.
4. Save data.

If the new Field Reference is to influence the field selection ( display , optional ,required ) of a material type , please use the configuration activity 'Define Attributes of Material Types'

and update the field 'Field Reference ' of the material type with the new Field Reference created
