Symptom
- Users have permission to view Event Reason in People Profile but cannot see values for this column in Report Story.
- This issue occurs despite having the necessary permissions in People Profile.

Reproducing the Issue
- Create a Story Report
- Add Job information table on data source and select Event Reason Column
- No data displays in Event Reason column
Cause
User has missing permission Event Reason object
Resolution
PLEASE NOTE: Permission setting for “event reason” is ignored in the employee profile UI but honoured in reporting (and other places as e.g. integration). Therefore, it could be possible that a missing permission for “event reason” could lead to different behaviours in employee profile UI and other applications like reporting.
Make sure to grant user with this Permission:
Manage Foundation Objects Types > Event Reason (View)
