Symptom

On companion (standby) machine, setuphadr fails with error site has older version "" :

Environment cleaned up.
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.sql.Connection.createStatement() of a null object loaded from field com.sap.setuphadr.Isql.conn of an object loaded from local variable 'this'
Error: The SAP ASE "<SID>" on "site1" site has older version "". You need to upgrade the SAP ASE to current version before setup HADR.
Error: Cannot connect to ASE Server "host_prim:port#/<SID>" by using account "sa".
