3394502 - How to set a different Host in the HTTPURLLOC for View Designer layout preview in SE80

Symptom

  • It is required to set a different host header of the inbound request for View Designer layout preview in SE80.
  • By way of illustration , it is desired to use the SAPLOCALHOSTFULL parameter value (i.e. the local instance of a system FQDN) when displaying the layout preview in SE80  for custom applications but an external URL needs to be set for other Web Dynpro Applications.
