Symptom

  • When running a trigger
  • The ASE error log reports a signal 11 at address sqlexc_prepare_current_block and with exectrig in the stack
    • Some or many instances can be seen
              
  • Typical log entries include :

    Current process (0x29910112) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x0000000001fd9f3d (sqlexc_prepare_current_block+0x6d) ...

    with a stack trace including

    sqlexc_prepare_current_block
    s_compile
    exectrig

  • An example of full stack trace as seen in the log is attached in file Full_Sequence.txt
