Symptom
Error "Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact Product Support, if the problem persists." occurs on updating Global Assignment workflow.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Global Assignment
Reproducing the Issue
- In Admin Tools -> Company System and Logo Settings, the switch "Enable Centralized Services for Global Assignment (Applicable for Add, Edit, End and Obsolete actions from UI)" is enabled.
- From employee's profile, Take Action -> Add global assignment -> Save, a workflow is triggered (If configured).
- As the approver, try to update the workflow.
- Try to click on "Continue" to review / modify Job Information details, the error message will appear “Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact Product Support, if the problem persists.”.
Resolution
- Please check in Business configuration any HRIS element is not enabled as per KBA 2586311 - Manage Business Configuration: Which hris-elements must be enabled and configured for Employee Central .
- Please enabled required hris element and Issue will be resolved.
