3395603 - Cannot Cancel Line Item From Purchase Order in Status 'In Approval'

Unable to cancel the line item from Purchase Order which is in status In Approval.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center and select the Purchase Orders view.

2. Select the relevant Purchase Order and select Edit button.

3. Select Items tab, and you see that Cancel Item button Greyed out.

This is a system limitation, where you cannot cancel the line item from Purchase Order when the status of the Purchase Order is 'In Approval'.

This is a system behaviour and cannot delete a specific line item in the Purchase order but the whole purchase order needs to be cancelled.
