3395626 - Cannot Consume Overhead Absorption Cost Functionality for Customer Projects

You want to use the overhead function with the project type customer project.

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Cost and Revenue work center
2. Go to Overhead Cost Projects
3. Go to Overhead Absorption view
4. Select Advanced filter
5. You do not find customer projects for selection

Customer Projects with Sales Integration is neither support overhead cost allocation nor overhead cost distribution. 

The overhead absorption function was not developed from the past as other customers did not request for the functionality. We do not see any technical or functional limitations as such. You can post the idea in ideas forum - https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/886. Product management will validate and take it further for future enhancements.
