3395952 - Admin permissions are not respecting target population for EC entities - OData API

You have granted any of the below permissions for your API user under "Employee Central API" RBP section:

• Employee Central HRIS OData API (read-only)
• Employee Central HRIS OData API (editable)

Now the API user is not respecting the target population configured in its RBP anymore.

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Employee Central APIs

The admin permissions don't respect the target population in RBP, this is the expected behavior.

Only the User Mode (non-admin) permissions will respect the target population.
