Symptom

SAP MaxDB/liveCache cannot be started.

  • db_online fails:

    -24994,ERR_RTE: Runtime environment error
    20091,Check knldiag! Kernel exited with '1' before reaching ADMIN state 

  • KnlMsg shows:

    StdIORedir thread started
    Volume '/sapdb/SDB/sapdata/DISKD000N' already exists,_FILE=RTEConf_VolumeConfiguration+noPIC.cpp,_LINE=660
