Symptom
We have set two sales order items with Part.Dlv./Item - B 'Create only one delivery (also with quantity = 0)'. Item 20 does not have a confirmed quantity but item 10 does. If a delivery is created for item 10 it is expected that both items will be completed since the partial delivery setting also includes items with quantity 0.
Environment
- Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Logistics Execution (LE)
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud All versions
Reproducing the Issue
- Logon to the launchpad with role SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP.
- Open app 'Create sales orders - VA01'.
- Create two items -> on the shipping tab apply the setting: Part.Dlv./Item - B.
- Confirm a schedule line quantity for on item
- Create a delivery for the one confirmed item
- Check the overall status of the sales order and the status of the undelivered item.
- The status is not yet completed.
Cause
The function of Part.Dlv./Item = B has been misunderstood.
Resolution
The Part.Dlv./Item option "Create only one delivery (also with quantity = 0)" relates to zeroing out the delivery quantity in the delivery document. Hence the delivery still needs to be created for all items. It does not relate to a zero confirmed schedule line quantity for an item that has not been delivered.
