3396628 - There is already a released cost estimate with costing variant

You are trying to make setting for Marking Allowance for material standard cost estimate.
You have several ledgers. In the first step, you have allowed for one of the ledger (for example, ledger 0L), and you have done costing run and released cost estimates.
Currently, you found cost estimate for ledger 2L is still not created, and you want to allow the same variant/version for ledger 2L.
You got error for example "There is already a released cost estimate with costing variant PPC1".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The error is to avoid data inconsistency.

You have to delete all the released cost estimate for 0L with app "Reorganize Cost Estimates". Then revoke the allowance for ledger 0L. Finally, you can allow for all the ledgers.

Please make sure you create manual steps for the processor to avoid such incorrect handling.
