3396996 - Unable to create/edit Insurance Plans - 2H 2023

• When creating or editing Insurance Plan records, an error is received upon save
• "You can’t configure the fields () because these are not available for general availability. To learn more, refer to the blog ‘Invitation to join the Reimagined EC Global Benefits Journey’ in the SAP Community page or contact your account executive."

The issue is happening because of the field "Plan Description" in the Insurance Plan object. This is relevant only for the feature Reimagined EC Global Benefits program.

For CREATE scenario, disable the field by following these steps:

1. Go to Configure Object Definitions > Insurance Plan
2. Take Action > Make Correction
3. Go to planDescription field
4. Set to "Not Visible"
5. Save

Engineering will be fixing this as part of 2H 2023 release via patch PTCH-42318 (Nov 09, 2023).
