3397505 - Customer Merge Maintain the External ID of Predecessor Account

You have two Accounts:

1. the account ID 123 without external ID (where 123 means the current ID) and;

2. the account ID 789 with external ID ABC (where 789 and ABC means the IDs).

While merging with account ID 123 as surviving account, the new account will be defined as account ID 123 with external ID ABC.

If the account ID 123 doesn’t have an external ID, C4C shall assign it from the other record. This means that the remaining business partner in c4c point to the external record.
