3397820 - Formal name is not getting updated for new hire - CS2H2023

Formal name is not getting updated for new hire in personal information portlet.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1.    Hire an user via add new employee
2.    Check the formal name field after hire in personal information portlet, the field is empty.

A fix for this issue will be provided via patch b2311p6 (27-Nov-23 in Preview and 30-Nov-23 in Production).

Workaround 1: On doing dummy change in the personal information portlet, the formal name is updated.

Workaround 2: Disable the switch "Enable Centralized Services to Add New Employee, Add New Employee for Fixed Term, and Rehire Inactive Employee" in Company System and Logo Settings. Please don't forget to re-enable the Centralized Services switches after the issue is fixed so that you can continue to enjoy the benefits of Centralized Services.
