3397909 - Splitting the quantity of a purchase order into two items generates a new source inspection lot with the quantity of the second item of the purchase order

Symptom

A source inspection lot has been created for a purchase order item with quantity 100. The quantity of the purchase order item has been changed to 40 and a new item has been added with quantity 60. When running transaction QI07 or using report  RQBAAM20 a new source inspection lot with quantity 60 is created for the new item. As a result two inspection lots are active: the original one with qty 100 and the new one with qty 60.
