3398341 - Unable to Rehire Contingent worker with same employment - 2H 2023

It is not possible to rehire an external worker using Add Contingent Worker tool with same employment.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Contingent Worker

1. Navigate to Add Contingent Worker tool.
2. Add Hire Date as current date. Fill the company and event reason as SCWK.
3. Add first name and Last name same as existing employment.
4. Duplicate Check popup appears without Accept option. 

Engineering team have confirmed that the issue will be fixed via patch MS2311p0 on 14th Nov.

Workaround: To rehire a contingent worker whose Work Order is expired, you must add a new Work Order.
