3398466 - Can't release the VAT Return - sap.b.controller.event.PostRequest

Can not release the VAT Return due to the following error:

"Please try resuming your work. If you still face issues, report an incident.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Tax Management Work Center > VAT Returns view
2. Search for your VAT Return
3. Select it and click Release
4. The dump occurs after some minutes

There are some ways in which the issue can be handled:

• Release the return in background

1. Go to Tax Management Work Center > VAT Returns view
2. Search for your VAT return and open it
3. Click View All
4. Click You Can Also > Release in Background
5. Click Save
6. The Status changes to Release Requested
7. The background job starts
8. It might take some minutes to release the VAT Return

• Use Aggregation Run

In case release in background does not work, you can use the aggregation run functionality that creates multiple returns for the same run, one after the other to avoid huge data in a single return. For more information refer to the Blog Aggregation Tax Returns in SAP Business ByDesign
