3398674 - Sales Quotes not linked to Opportunities in the Sales Pipeline Report

When accessing the Sales Pipeline report in the system and filtering for the Sales Quotes IDs linked to Opportunities, you notice that none of the Sales Quotes displayed in the report are linked to an Opportunity, even though the Sales Quotes were created as a follow up from an Opportunity.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Analytics Work Center.
2. Go to the Design Reports View.
3. Filter for All.
4. In the search field, search for the Sales Pipeline.
5. Open the Sales Pipeline Report.
6. Select the View Icon.
7. In the Row fields, add the Sales Quote column.
8. In the Row fields, add the Opportunity column.
9. Click in the Selection icon and filter for the Sales Quote ABC (where ABC represents the Sales Quote ID).
10. Select Apply button.

The Sales Quote column will display the ID ABC, however the Opportunity column will display the symbol # (Not assigned).

In the Sales Pipeline report, the Sales Quotes are not displayed linked to the Opportunity documents because in the Data Source (CRMOPQU) used in this report, the Opportunity IDs are linked to Sales Quotes backend IDs instead of the Sales Quote IDs maintained in the system. 

Therefore, in this report no Sales Quote ID will be displayed linked to an Opportunity document and no Opportunity will be displayed linked to a Sales Quote.

This behavior occurs for all the records displayed in the Sales Pipeline report.

This is currently the standard design for the Sales Pipeline report.
