3398820 - New <root> member ID appears in the dimension with the validation error that "Value may not be <root>" in SAP Analytics Cloud

• When clicking "Load all of the members" for a dimension, a new <root> member ID appears in the dimension.
• The validation error says: "Value may not be <root>".

SAP Analytics Cloud (Entreprise) 2023.16.10

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud
2. From the main menu, go to modeler 
3. Open the model under the Model Structure workspace
4. Look for the dimension you would like to work on and open it
5. In the Dimension Details pane, click "Load all of the members"
6. Note the new <root> Member ID that appears with the validation error that "Value may not be <root>".

• This is a known issue that can only be fixed directly on database level by removing invalid entries.
• Please rise a support case under LOD-ANA-ML-MDM component and refer to this KBA.
