3398845 - Overflow occurs when calling RAP BO ‘i_supplydemanditemtp’

When trying to call RAP BO ‘i_supplydemanditemtp’ for certain materials, quantity overflow error occurs .
The similar error/symptom can be observed in API or Monitor Stock / Requirements List (MD04).

Normally, the issue is because there are quantities which are too large to be calculated and due to which, the calculated total quantity exceed the limitation of the data definition . 

 

Normally, in real business, it does not make sense to have such big quantities. 
If the business does have such data, then this is because the base UoM are not designed/chosen appropriately which can cause the overflow of the calculation.
Please check the required quantity in the BOM and choose another base UoM.
