Symptom

  • The error message "Upload failed, please check Application Log (Object: /SALM/SIM)" is displayed when trying to upload Readiness Check file in Simplification Item Management application.
  • In SLG1 application for Object /SALM/SIM there are no error messages logged for the user trying to upload the Readiness Check file.
  • In transaction /n/IWFND/ERROR_LOG for the user getting the error in Simplification Item Management application there are errors like :

    No virus scan profile is selected as the "default profile" or Virus scan profile is not active

    for service name /SALM/SIM_ITM_MGT_SRV
