3399147 - Unable to post job exernally with missing mapping validation errors - Recruiting Management

When attempting to post a job externally, the posting fails with the error "Failed to post the job on the external career site. The External Job Title, External Job Description, City, State, Country/Region and Postal/Zip Code Recruiting Marketing Fields are not mapped for the xxxx job requisition template fields in the Setup Recruiting Marketing Job Field Mapping page. Contact your administrator."

The message refers to missing Recruiting Marketing field mapping but RMK is in fact not implemented.

1. Go to Recruiting
2. Go to Job req
3. Go to job posting page
4. Set posting date on external posting and click on "post job"
5. The "failed to post" message appears

This is a misconfiguration. The provisioning switch "Enable Recruiting Marketing" is set to on under Company Settings even though no other implementation settings have been configured.

Because this setting enables the RMK Field Mapping feature in admin center, this also triggers the Validations to Prevent Job Posting Failures.

When RMK is not implemented, the  Enable Recruiting Marketing switch must be off. 

This will ensure the posting validations to RMK are not triggered.
