3399521 - FF Session remains blocked ( Status: Red)

Symptom

After finishing the FF Session, the FF session remains blocked. In the FF launchpad, the FFID is still shows as being used by FF. The logoff button is greyed out. The issue started after upgrading to SP 21 or after implementing the Note 3318926 and 3318927.
