Under Document Settings → Per Document → Equipment Card tab, you want to deselect the option Add Multiple Business Partners to an Equipment Card
It is not possible to complete this action and you get the warning message:
Cannot deselect this checkbox; equipment card with multiple business partners or of type Sales & Purchasing already exists
