3400014 - Print button in Projects under Gantt is working as expected

 Gantt chart print details are not showing as expected

SAP Business ByDesign

 Go to project management work center

 go to projects View

Open the Respective project

Go to Gantt chart tab

Adjust the horizontal bar such that  it shows  only the planned tasks lines that are in red or blue color

Click on Print button

You will see  many empty spaces of previous year columns  are appearing

The printing functionality is not available for Projects in ByDesign.

Since hardly anybody is using it hence the investment to offer a full fledged printing functionality has to be approved by Architect and Governance Team.   

 So Please  consider to post this request in the SAP Customer Influence forum at https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#campaign/886  there you can request new features , vote for existing ideas.  The votes will be considered to  take them up for development.

As a workaround, you can download the project in Microsoft XML format and use an external tool for printing. There are a couple of project viewers that accept this format and may offer a printing capability.
