3400102 - Error " You Cannot Assign This Contact as the E-mail Address is Mandatory for the Selected Contact Type" While Creating IT Contact

When you create a new IT Contact , system throws below error message:

"You cannot assign this contact as the e-mail address is mandatory for the selected contact type"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Control Center Work center.
2. Go to Contact Details view.
3. Select Create Contact Assignment button.
4. Select the Contact type.
5. Fill form with the require information.
6. Select Save and Close button.

System throws error message " You cannot assign this contact as the e-mail address is mandatory for the selected contact type"

Employee Email ID is not maintained.

1. Go to Personnel Administration WorkCenter 
2. Navigate to Employee View
3. Open Employee ID and Click on Edit.
4. Navigate to Personal data view.
5. Click on Private Contact Data View.
6. Click on Add row and maintain employee email ID .
