3400288 - Unable to change Profit Center in app "Project Control - Enterprise Projects"

It is not possible to change the Profit Center of a project in app "Project Control - Enterprise Projects".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app "Project Control - Enterprise Projects";
2. Select a project to open its details;
3. Click on Edit;
4. Notice that the Profit Center field is not editable.

This is the standard system behavior when the project has already been Released.

It is not possible to change the Profit Center of a project using app 'Project Control - Enterprise Projects' once the project has the Processing Status defined as Released.

As a workaround, it is possible to change the Profit Center using app "Manage Organizational Changes".

Be aware that Scope Item 4PG must be activated in the system, in order to access app "Manage Organizational Changes". This scope item isn't standard and isn't activated by default.
