3400315 - Error appears when adding a component to a Bill of Material or a Production Order: Item already defined at a higher level in the product tree

You try to add a component item to a Bill of Materials (BOM) or to a Production Order and the system displays one of the following errors:

Item already defined at a higher level in the product tree [Bill of Materials - Component Items - Component Item][line: 1] , 'Row no. 1' [Message 3566-12].

Item already defined at a higher level in the product tree [Production Order - Rows - Item No.][line: X]  [Message 3566-12].
