After simulating the Fixed asset - Postings migration object in the Migrate Your Data -Migration Cockpit app, The error message "AA 322 - Value date is earlier than capitalization date: Posting is not possible" appears.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

1. Open Migrate Your Data -Migration Cockpit app

2. Upload Fixed asset - Postings migration object. 

3. Select Simulate in action part.

4. The error message appears.

Capitalized in the year of the legacy data transfer with an acquisition posting that also includes a quantity.

The mechanism via STARTQUANTITY is intended to transfer the opening balance of the quantity on the asset - similar to the cumulative values, it is used to transfer the accumulated quantity of the asset of the previous years. Therefore, this posting will be posted with the first day of the year as asset value date, which is before the capitalization date of your new asset and causes the error message.

Remove the STARTQUANTITY from the Transactions Headers table.
