3400774 - Errors related to Open Item Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

1. Customers get the error message "BSTAT U doc. found under FC val." in trying to execute Activate Open Item Management for G/L Accounts.

Documents with status U are document which are only posted onto the general ledger and those are forbidden on open item managed accounts. 

In order to be able to reactivate OIM, you need to Reverse all the documents with status U.

Follow the steps to find the document that mention the technical fieldname BSTAT.

1. The affected field is "Journal Entry Category".
2. This field is available in the Fiori app "Display Line Items in General Ledger".
3. You can use this field to filter with value = U.

All these postings would need to be reversed. If there are a greater number of documents with "Journal Entry Category = U" it is better to introduce a new G/L Account.
