3401103 - Dump RFC_NO_AUTHORITY- No RFC authorization for function module "SCMON_CONF_SET_MAX_NUM_SLICES"

Symptom

The following RFC_NO_AUTHORITY dump appears in an ABAP system:

What happened?

User "SMTM<SID>" in client XXX attempted to execute function module "SCMON_CONF_SET_MAX_NUM_SLICES" from function group "SCMON_API_REMOTE" , but does not have the relevant RFC authorization.

Error in the ABAP Application Program.

The current ABAP program "SAPLSCMON_API_REMOTE" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
