3401135 - Download of Development Plan Templates in Configuration Transport Center tool fails - 2H 2023

After 2H 2023 Release, users are unable to download Development Plan Templates using the Configuration Transport Center tool in Admin Center.

SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning

1. Go to Admin Center > Configuration Transport Center;
2. In the Configuration Activities tab, while in Download Mode, select the Configuration Area: Talent;
3. Expand Talent groups > Career Development > Manage Templates > Development Plan Templates;
4. Select the target template;
5. Enter a name and description for Download Request, and click Create;
6. Initiate Download;
7. Under Download Requests tab, job status is "Failed";
8. Download error log;
9. Error Message:null:Unable to export configurations due to an internal issue. Please try again later. If the issue still persists, contact Product Support to troubleshoot the issue.

This is a Known Issue.

Product Engineering is has developed a solution which will be applied in the b2405 release.

As a workaround you can download the templates via Provisioning, if you do not have access to Provisioning please contact Product Support.

Note: Product Support can only download the templates on your behalf and cannot upload templates on your behalf.
