3401386 - Error:"The job information record has an employment status change that is not allowed " on updating Job Information.

When the Job Information record is updated with Event reason which has Employee status set to Active, Dormant, Inactive, etc other than "No Selection" through Job Information History below error is shown.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Job Information

1. Go to user's profile.
2. Navigate to Job Information History. 
3. Insert new record > Select Event reason. 
4. Click Save. 
5. Error : The job information record has an employment status change that is not allowed is shown.

• This is an expected error that is shown as a validation from centralized services on Job Information to prevent the selection of Event reason which are causing to change the employee's status for data change action.
• This is to improve the data integrity. 

• Only events that don't change the employee status can be inserted or created in Job History. So, please select the Event reason that has Employee Status set to "No Selection" in Manage Org Pay Job Structures.
