3401500 - Notification are not being received after publishing Job Information or Compensation Information data to Employee Central from Compensation Module

When publishing Job Information or Compensation Information to Employee Central from Compensation Form, no notification is being received. However, when adding the records manually from UI, the notification is triggered as expected.

• SAP SucessFactors Employee Central
• SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

• Integration between Compensation and Employee Central is configured;
• Business Rule is configured to trigger a workflow and;
• Publish from Compensation Planning in Business Rule is marked as Yes.

When publishing data from Compensation Form to Employee Central and pulling rule trace, the rule and workflow are triggered accordingly however no notification is received.

This process does not support workflows. When the data is finally published, workflows should not trigger, irrespective of what approach is used as the approvals have already happened in Compensation Module.

Expected behavior. 

As workflows are not supported when publishing data from Compensation to Employee Central, notifications will only be received when adding the records directly in Employee Central (Job Information and Compensation Information portlets).
